Into the Darkness, Swinford Toll Bridge

I finished this with oil pastels. I find the texture and movement put down with oil paint very interesting but the small size of the canvas stopped me from getting into the detail. Good or bad? I need time before I can decide.

I love the effect you’ve got on the water there…nice chunky use of paint/pastels too :)

Should have my “copy” blogged in the next hour or so, just waiting for it to dry before I remove the masking fluid :)

I like it. I've never got on with pastels and I am always in awe of people who make it look so easy.

really lovely, the sky is Van Goghish. I have little experience with art but I can't imagine what you would do that could make this more beautiful

Thank you for your comments. I have decided that the white on the boat can be knocked back a little but other wise I am content to leave it alone.

Odd Chick - thank you for the 'Beautiful'.
