This started as a straight forward painting of a friend's kitchen sink. The more it developed the more I wanted to move it into anther place. So the coolness that reminded me of the unused big kitchen of my childhood home slowed time down and the view through the window has become the long gone Eynsham Abbey.

Well if the house stood in medieval times they would have seen it from that window.
