'Dave; The Eynsham Morris Dancer'-graphite drawing

Still looking at Dave this time using graphite. It makes a delicate silvery mark but I have tweaked the levels in Photoshop so it is clearer for the blog. Have got myself an electric eraser and it not only cleared up mistakes but cleared away the light smear that you get from graphite on the light areas.

mmm ... need to clean the scanner.

When you really put your mind to it, Lorna, the quality of your draughtsmanship is quite superb.

So nice to have my work appreciated especially by a collector of paintings.

What other readers of my blog may not realize is that is that Adam and his partner Lucy have been a good 'patrons' not only financially with purchases but with encouragement and support in many directions. So, once again, thank you.

You’ve really captured him there Lorna and I love the way you’re handling the background. Very successful :)
