Crayoning the Malingerer



I am going to use an old technique learnt when I was a little girl. Crayola crayons being the best to lay down initial colour and then painting over with watercolour paints.



The wax resists the paint and the possibilities are endless.

I’m really curious to see how this is going to work…the watercolours over the wax crayon…VERY bold. I would never have thought of that.
I’ve just put some pastel over one of my watercolours (which I’ll post soon). But that was an obvious combination…This really looks interesting…Keep going :)
