No pencil!

The Miss T photo session was canceled as I had a job interview at the last moment. Once again it was a "over qualified and under experienced interview". They liked the quality of my degree but when it came down to the bottom line it is about productivity and not design.

Conversation

Why do you paint today?

I make images in a variety of media to communicate my internal thinking, expand my understanding of the world and for the oldest reason of all ... to make money. It is the process that I like ... introspection is one of my vices. A freshly finished image makes me vulnerable but satisfied ... like good sex. Satisfaction wanes and the image passes to others. I make another image.

Miss T's face

Sigh!
Miss T's face is still not right. I have painted her mouth and part of her nose out and will repaint when it is dry. I am not blogging it as it is disturbing to see like this.
Meanwhile ... I am doing a small little watercolour and will go back the marvelous Miss T in a few days time.

Job interview

Went for a job interview as a designer this week. Did not get it as my web work was weak. I have feet of clay.
